Carnival: Here's how to enjoy the holiday period at Multiplan's malls

In Brazil, Carnival is one of the most keenly awaited times of the year and, even with the change in the calendar in some cities, Multiplan's shopping centers have added several special programs for those who still don't know where to enjoy their holidays during the festive period. Customers can also find all the attractions that are already part of the daily life of the malls: gastronomy, culture and lots of leisure, with cinema, toys for children and options for the whole family, including pets! Check out what's available in your city between February 26-March 2 and take advantage of the Multi superapp.

Already a tradition at VillageMall, in Rio de Janeiro (RJ), the feijoada also has arrived at ParkJacarepaguá, Multiplan's newest mall, which opened in November. Consumers will be able to enjoy the delicious meal in different portions and versions on Saturday, February 26. At VillageMall, participating in the event are these restaurants: Pobre Juan, one of the most prestigious meat houses in the country; French-style Le Jardin Du Cuisinier; Giuseppe Mar, specializing in seafood; Parisian Itacoá and the Portuguese O Fado. In its debut season, Parkjacarepaguá is offering versions of feijoada at Bar do Zeca Pagodinho, specializing in Brazilian food; at Camarada Camarão, which bets on seafood dishes; and PJ Barbecue, known for the best steaks in town.

Between February 26-March 1, ParkJacarepaguá (RJ) will promote Fun in the Park for children. The free event will feature face painting and costume workshops, a toy area, children's characters and attractions such as the Fun Band, playing the biggest hits for the kids; Circo do Macaco Prego, with a theatrical show and many games; AfroReggae, which will bring its child percussionists and different musical styles; and the Violúdico staff, who perform with a musical and interactive show. The mall will also offer all its permanent attractions: ice skating rink, six stadium movie theaters, HotZone with approximately 100 toys, and ParCão in a large open area for pets.

Until the February 28, BarraShopping, also in Rio de Janeiro, will host the 'Fun City by Hello Kitty & Amigos' event. The themed space contains a games circuit, giant slide, string figure toy, seesaws and a basketball game, in addition to customizable scenarios. Scattered totems also present the "Hello Kitty Activity Almanac," with three different types of activities that distract, amuse and develop children's skills.

Also in Rio, ParkShoppingCampoGrande offers, until March 1, the Diversion in the Park event Dive, with workshops on masks, juggling, props, magic bubbles and also music by the Bandinha Estilo Carioca. The workshops are free and to participate the customer must make a reservation through the Multi app. Individual and previously sanitized kits will be distributed to each participant. The project has also prepared an attraction for pets: on February 27, from 10 a.m. to 12 noon, a costume contest will be organized.

In São Paulo, ShoppingAnáliaFranco (SP) offers Roller Space, a retro rink for four-wheel skates. The attraction is available until March 1. Clients registered on the Multi super app can double their time on the rink by activating a promotional coupon. Also at ShoppingAnáliaFranco, children from 3-12 years old will be able to enjoy the Pop It attraction, inspired by one of the most famous toys today, until March 6.

At MorumbiShopping (SP), the program is under the direction of Teatro MorumbiShopping. Until March 27, the comedy Um Milhão em Uma Hora, presented by comedian Bruno Motta, will be put on Friday and Saturday at 9 p.m. and Sunday at 7 p.m. For children, the play Bob Zoom - O Trem de Ferro will be on display until March 6, on Saturdays and Sundays at 3 p.m.;

The biggest inflatable castle in Latin America, the Jump Around event is at ParkShoppingSãoCaetano, in São Caetano do Sul (SP). Unprecedented in the ABC region, the attraction installed in a 2,500 m² structure will operate until March 27, from Thursday-Sunday, from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Until March 5, the attraction "A Grande Arca dos Animais" will be at RibeirãoShopping, in Ribeirão Preto (SP). The structure has a huge ark, in which visitors can enter and take a tour of the animals on display. In addition, children can have fun on a little train, a carousel and interactive cinema, which are part of the scene outside the ark.

At ShoppingSantaÚrsula, also in Ribeirão Preto (SP), the exhibition "Art Vinil by Disco Riscado" has just gained a new, larger and more comfortable space. The free exhibition features new works, such as a Spider-Man Lamp and rotating busts by Janis Joplin, Raul Seixas and Jimi Hendrix.

ParkShopping Canoas, in Canoas (RS), will include the Sweet Adventure activity, an environment designed to stimulate children's imagination. Available until February 25, the space has attractions in candy formats, such as slides, toy with obstacles, carousel cupcake, crazy cup and coconut tree, ball pool and an inflatable area.

BarraShoppingSul, in Porto Alegre (RS), will host the L.O.L Surprise! World. The entertainment is geared towards children from 1-12 and the circuit features DJ booths, a dance floor, karaoke, toys such as seesaws, a slide and the L.O.L trampoline, among others. There will also be a dressing room with washable tattoos being applied.

ParkShoppingBarigüi, in Curitiba (PR), will hold the PKB Kids Folia. Aimed at children 3-10, the event will feature customization of various items, such as masks, confetti launchers, play dough and carnival props. Percussion and musical and banner-making workshops are also among the attractions. The workshops are all free and will take place daily between February 26 and March 1, from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m.

At BH Shopping, in Belo Horizonte (MG), the exhibition "Dinosaurs of Brazil" aims to show in real size and special materials the reproduction of animals that lived on Brazilian soil in the Cretaceous and Triassic periods, that is, up to 230 million years ago. From the February 21-March 27, children, scholars and lovers of the theme can physically view the replicas assembled for the first time in the city.

In addition, BH Shopping will be open until April 10 with BH ON ICE, a giant 380 m² ice-skating rink, available for adults and children as of 6 years old. Children from 2 to 5 can ride the ICELAND CAR - an instructor-led sled, in complete safety. Skating sessions range from thirty minutes to an hour.

DiamondMall, also in Belo Horizonte (MG), will have a Roller Boogie skating rink, with four-wheel skates under the disco music soundtrack, among national and international classics, to make the experience even more nostalgic and fun. The attraction will be available until March 13 and has a team of monitors trained to help with protective equipment, change skates and provide help on the track.

Also in the capital of Minas Gerais, Pátio Savassi hosts Mundo Penguim, an event that promises to entertain children with characters from the main productions of Penguin Content. In addition to the hit "O Show da Luna!" event, it also includes the participation of "Singing with Ping and Pong" and "Charlie, O Entrevistador de Coisas" with slides and a coloring space.
