Multiplan was unanimously elected to receive the Brazil Leaders Award 2021, in the Leader of the State of Rio de Janeiro category. The award is one of the most important initiatives of LIDE, an organization joining businessmen from a number of countries, while nationally recognizing the talent, competence and commitment of great managers in both the public and private spheres, toward building a better and more competitive Brazil though ethical and transparent practices.

Multiplan was chosen by the Business Council of LIDE RIO DE JANEIRO, recognizing that we continue to believe, invest, employ, and provide excellent service to our state. "We are proud to receive this award, because it reflects our ongoing commitment to development and innovation, and motivates us to continue on this path of delivering more than people expect," said Vander Giordano, Multiplan's Institutional Vice President.

The award ceremony took place on December 6, at Palácio dos Bandeirantes, in São Paulo.

In addition, Multiplan also received the Rio Leaders Award in recognition of the important investment (R$ 800 million) made in its 5th project in the state of Rio de Janeiro, the ParkJacarepaguá shopping center, generating 4,000 direct jobs and 4,000 indirect jobs, in addition to investing about R$ 50 million in public improvement works around the site. The nomination and the choice were made by the LIDE RIO DE JANEIRO Business Council, which this year prioritized relevant actions for the immediate recovery of Rio's economy.

The award ceremony took place on December 15, at the Fairmont Rio de Janeiro, in Copacabana, with the presence of the governor of the State of Rio de Janeiro, Cláudio Castro, as well as authorities, important business leaders and the specialized press.
