In a unique and internationally unprecedented experience, Pátio Savassi, in Belo Horizonte (MG), is hosting the exhibition "Beauty in Michelangelo's Sculpture - From the Classical Models to the Heritage of his Followers," putting on display 25 pieces, including statues, busts and plaster reliefs, produced by the Gipsoteca of Firenze from molds of the Italian master's original works.

Set up in the hallway on floor L3 of the mall until April 17, admission to the exhibition is free. The show is composed of sculptures and 10 "gigantographs" (large high rez photos) of the original pieces, by Aurelio Amendola. The exhibition offers visitors the splendor of the nude studies designed by the great artist, all with special lighting that reproduces the scenography aspect.

Considered one of the greatest creators in the history of art, Michelangelo is a reference for his Renaissance works, admired the world over. The project at Pátio Savassi is a rare opportunity for art lovers to get to know his legacy and history right up front, immortalized in so many works, such as "Pietà" and "The Last Judgement."

The show also features clay workshops for children aged 4 to 12, who can let their creativity loose by developing sculptures inspired in Michelangelo's works, accompanied by Corre Cotia's art educators. To participate, just register in advance through the Multi superapp at Multiplan malls. The workshops are free and operate on Saturdays and Sundays, from noon to 5 p.m., with a maximum capacity of 18 participants per class.
