Business description: Munich Re

- reinsurance (49.8%): non-life reinsurance (59.5% of insurance revenue) and life and health reinsurance (40.5%);
- insurance (35.8%): life and health insurance (47.6% of insurance revenue) and non-life insurance (21.7%). The remaining insurance revenue (30.7%) are from international insurance activities;
- specialty insurance (14.3%): cyber, aviation, space, professional indemnity, marine, and other specialty insurances.
Insurance revenue is distributed geographically as follows: Germany (26.8%), Europe (29.9%), the United States (26.1%), North America (3.5%), Asia and Australasia (9.2%), Latin America (2.4%), Africa and the Middle East (2.1%).
