March 16, 2022, at night local time, an earthquake struck off the Coast of Miyagi and Fukushima Prefecture. Murata, our thoughts and prayers are with all those who suffered from this natural disaster.

As has been known at this time, some of the buildings and equipment have been damaged at the following production bases located in the area, and operations have been affected and restoration work is continuing.
As for production of Tohoku Murata Manufacturing Co., Ltd., some of production is expected to resume by tomorrow.
