When she was 14 years old, she took part in a fashion show organized by the town and was discovered by a talent scout. She signed with the international model agency IMG Models.

When she was 17 she went to work in New York and her career took off. She had never dreamed of becoming a top model but soon appeared on all the famed runways: Dolce & Gabbana, Jil Sanders, Prada, Valentino, to mention but a few. In 1999, she was Vogue's 'Model of the Year' winner and followed Stella Tennant as the 'face' of Chanel.
The top fashion houses competed for her talents and she appeared in the Fendi, Calvin Klein, Christian Dior, Chanel, Versace, Prada, Cavalli… campaigns.

Besides her career as a top model, Angela Lindvall is an ardent environmentalist. She is the founder of the Collage Foundation, an organization promoting sustainable development to young people.
