Nanexa AB today announces that the company has received a decision from Finansinspektionen (Sweden's financial supervisory authority) to pay a penalty fee of SEK 1,000,000 regarding events that occurred in 2017.

Finansinspektionen has found that Nanexa, in connection with decision regarding a rights issue in September 2017, has disregarded the requirements for publication of insider information and preparation of a correct insider list in Regulation (EU) 596/2014 of the European Parliament and of the Council on market abuse (market abuse regulation).

A total fee of SEK 1,100,000 has been reduced to SEK 1,000,000 in a proportionality assessment and after Finansinspektionen has established that there has been an unreasonable delay in the handling of the case.
