Napco Security Technologies, Inc. announced earnings results for the second quarter ended December 31, 2020. For the second quarter, the company announced total revenue was USD 27.205 million compared to USD 25.829 million a year ago. Operating income was USD 3.669 million compared to USD 3.994 million a year ago. Net income was USD 3.197 million compared to USD 3.572 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 0.17 compared to USD 0.19 a year ago. For the half year, total revenue was USD 50.378 million compared to USD 52.114 million a year ago. Operating income was USD 6.323 million compared to USD 7.603 million a year ago. Net income was USD 5.516 million compared to USD 6.805 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 0.3 compared to USD 0.37 a year ago.
Napco Security Technologies, Inc. (NAPCO) manufactures and designs electronic security devices, cellular communication services and school safety solutions. The Company offers a diversified array of security products, encompassing access control systems, door-locking products, intrusion and fire alarm systems and video surveillance products. The products are used by commercial, residential, institutional, industrial and governmental applications, and are sold worldwide to independent distributors, dealers and installers of security equipment. NAPCO manufactures and markets various products for alarm systems, which include automatic communicators, control panels, combination control panels/digital communicators and digital keypad systems, fire alarm control panel and area detectors.
