Shares of power producers fell as investors retreated from the sector in light of steadily rising Treasury yields.

Shares of British utility National Grid over-reacted to U.K. draft regulation of price controls, which will run from April 2021 to March 2026, said analysts at brokerage UBS.

National Grid is one of three power companies investing billions of pounds in subsea cables linking Scottish wind farms to British power users, according to Dow Jones ESG Research.
