Gas Natural Fenosa : Cegas renews sponsorship of Filmoteca d’Estiu for the eighth year in a row

• As they do each year, screenings by the Filmoteca will relocate to the Turia gardens from 28 July to 27 August.

• This event, which forms part of the city's cultural events calendar, is unmissable both for residents of Valencia and visitors or tourists.

Earlier today, the Managing Director of the Institut Valencià de Cultura, Abel Guarinos, and the General Manager of Gas Natural Cegas, Celestina López, renewed the agreement under which the energy company will sponsor the 18th Filmoteca d'Estiu. For the eighth year in a row, Gas Natural Cegas is sponsoring this initiative, which will take place from 28 July to 27 August in the city of Valencia.

A commitment to cinema and culture

Gas Natural Cegas, GAS NATURAL FENOSA's distributor in the Valencian Community, has a commitment to collaborating with society that goes beyond its business activities and which focuses on developing an extensive range of sponsorship initiatives through several lines of action in the social, environmental and cultural spheres.

The energy company has a clear commitment to the world of film, supporting Spain's main festivals and leading cinemas. For example, in the Valencian Community, it sponsors the L'Alfas del Pi Film Festival in Alicante. By supporting the world of cinema, GAS NATURAL FENOSA has been collaborating with one of the industries most affected by the crisis, especially in the case of film festivals, which have seen their funding sources shrink.
