Gas Natural Fenosa : Vigo Financial Club to reduce energy consumption at its facilities by up to 30% thanks to an agreement with Gas Natural Servicios

• The Galician Chamber of Commerce and the energy company signed an energy-efficiency agreement that will authorise the renovation and optimisation of the heating and cooling and water systems in the Club's facilities.

The managing director of the Vigo Financial Club, Víctor Jáuregui, and GAS NATURAL FENOSA's delegate for Sales and Operations in Galicia, José Antonio Sánchez, signed the agreement, which will improve energy efficiency in the Vigo Financial Club's facilities. The agreement will lead to the renovation and optimisation of the heating and cooling and water systems, reducing current expenditure on energy and maintenance by up to 30%.

The company will undertake the improvement project on its facilities, which provides for the replacement of existing equipment for generating heat/cold with others, more efficient equipment capable of meeting demand and reducing current consumption levels in the building.

Gas Natural Servicios will invest 120,000 euros in the renovation of the thermal system. The power company created a tailor-made proposal with the best price to suit the needs of Vigo Financial Club, which will enable significant savings in energy consumption.

According to the agreement, both organisations will provide information, training, publicity and energy analysis relating to efficiency, by holding technical seminars. They will also promote the development of the liberalised energy market by providing information and customised energy advice to member businesses, offering them the best prices according to their needs in the open market and enabling them to save on their bills.

The company will assess the member businesses with regard to energy usage, comfort, energy efficiency, mobility and illumination and will offer its products and services under the best available terms through a customised and distinctive proposal, providing them with the best price according to their needs in the open market, and therefore enabling them to save money on their bills.
