Gas Natural SDG : Fenosa Renovables makes progress on construction of its first seven wind farms in Gran Canaria

Earlier today, the Regional Councillor for Economic Affairs, Industry, Commerce and Knowledge, Pedro Ortega, the President of the Island Council, Antonio Morales, and the Mayor of Agüimes, Óscar Hernández, visited the work taking place on the Haría Wind Farm.
The Haría Wind Farm, one of the seven under construction, will represent an investment of 4.3 million euros and an installed power capacity of 2.35 MW.
Earlier today, the Regional Councillor for Economic Affairs, Industry, Commerce and Knowledge, Pedro Ortega, the President of the Island Council, Antonio Morales, and the Mayor of Agüimes, Óscar Hernández, visited the work taking place on the Haría Wind Farm being built in the municipality of Agüimes by Gas Natural Fenosa Renovables, the company developing GAS NATURAL FENOSA's renewable energy projects in Spain. The visit was led by the General Manager of Gas Natural Fenosa Renovables. Ana Peris, the company's Director for Promotion, Carlos González, and the company's delegate in the Canary Islands, Sergio Auffray.
The Haría Wind Farm has an installed power capacity of 2.35 megawatts (MW), which will produce around 6 GWh each year - equal to the power consumption of some 2,200 homes. The investment made by Gas Natural Fenosa Renovables in Haría amounts to 4.3 million euros. The company plans to complete work on the Haría Wind Farm over the coming months so the facility can enter service before the end of the year.
Gas Natural Fenosa Renovables projects under construction in Gran Canaria
Haría is one of the seven wind farms being built by Gas Natural Fenosa Renovables in Gran Canaria. The other six projects are: Balcón de Balos, La Vaquería, Motaña Perros, Triquivijate, Vientos del Roque and Doramas. In total, they will require an investment of almost 40 million euros for an installed power capacity of 25.6 megawatts (MW) that will produce 86 GWh per year, equal to the power consumption of almost 32,000 homes.
