• The company has activated a new transformer station and an underground medium-voltage line in O Baceiro.

Unión Fenosa Distribución, an electricity distribution subsidiary of GAS NATURAL FENOSA, invested close on 120,000 euros in updates and improvement work on medium-voltage electricity installations in the municipality of Tomiño. Specifically, the company recently activated an underground medium-voltage power line of 769 metres and a 160 KVA transformer station in O Baceiro, in the parish of Amorín, improving the quality of supply for over 50 customers in the area.

This project is included in Unión Fenosa Distribución's investment plan for this year to improve the quality of service provided to its customers.

The goal of these initiatives is to strengthen the electricity supply infrastructure and improve the electricity distribution network, especially in rural areas where the service quality must be improved, contributing to the economic development of these areas and improving their quality of life.

Unión Fenosa Distribución, the electricity distribution subsidiary of GAS NATURAL FENOSA, is the largest electricity distributor in Galicia. It provides service to more than 1.5 million supply points in 286 municipalities in the four provinces of Galicia through a network of nearly 58,500 kilometres of high-, medium- and low-voltage lines. The electricity distributor will invest almost 390 million euros in Galicia in the four-year period 2015-2018 to reinforce the network and improve supply quality.
