PLEASANTON, Calif. (AP) _ Natus Medical Inc. (NTUS) on Thursday reported fourth-quarter earnings of $5.2 million.

On a per-share basis, the Pleasanton, California-based company said it had profit of 15 cents. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, were 39 cents per share.

The maker of medical device for newborn care posted revenue of $118.7 million in the period.

For the year, the company reported that its loss widened to $16.6 million, or 49 cents per share. Revenue was reported as $415.7 million.

Natus Medical expects full-year earnings in the range of 11 cents to 18 cents per share, with revenue in the range of $108 million to $112 million.

Natus Medical shares have increased 30% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Thursday, shares hit $26.04, a decline of 9.5% in the last 12 months.
