SUPERLABS (co-CEOs Kim Chang-wook and Jeon Jin-soo), a generative AI-based service specialist affiliated with SNOW, NAVER's subsidiary, announced that they would launch virtual human AMARA in collaboration with AMUSE, a brand focused on vegan lifestyle, wellness, and beauty

According to AMUSE, they have created a virtual human, named AMARA, to better communicate their brand values of veganism, wellness, and positivity toward the world. AMARA will serve as a brand ambassador for AMUSE, actively promoting the brand through various channels including official social media platforms to both Korean and international customers.

To create AMARA, SUPERLABS utilized generative AI technology to transform AMUSE's brand identity into a virtual human. This was achieved through advanced 3D modeling and retargeting technologies, allowing for a natural representation of AMARA. The official video showcasing AMARA's movements utilized photorealistic rendering techniques.

AMUSE unveiled AMARA on their official store website and Instagram account on May 2 and plans to host an AMARA-themed pop-up store named "Peach Planet" for two weeks, starting on May 11 at The Hyundai Seoul, Yeouido.

"With the rapid development of generative AI technology, the representation of virtual humans has advanced to become more comprehensive and natural. We will build a platform that can assist individuals across various fields in creating and utilizing high-quality virtual humans," said Jeon Jin-soo, CEO of SUPERLABS.

Lee Seung-min, CEO of AMUSE, said, "Our goal with AMARA is to provide AMUSE fans around the world with unique experiences. We will use digital communication methods tailored to millennials and Gen Z to deliver our brand philosophy, setting us apart from other beauty brands."

SUPERLABS, established as a subsidiary of SNOW in March last year, has launched a generative AI-based image creation platform, "Lasco.ai," and a virtual human, "MOA." In addition to AI image creation, they plan to build a platform that enables anyone to create virtual humans using generative AI technology.
