Norwegian hydrogen company Nel ASA said Thursday that its Nel Hydrogen Electrolyser AS subsidiary has received an order worth over 3 million euros ($3.2 million) for an alkaline electrolysis hydrogen production system.

The order is from Glencore Nikkelverk in Kristansand, Norway, and the green hydrogen from the electrolyser system will be used for production of hydrochloric acid, it said.

Delivery of the equipment is expected in mid-2023.
