Finnish Neste and Bayer have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to develop vegetable oils from regenerative agriculture. This is stated in a press release.

The collaboration focuses on establishing a winter canola ecosystem in the United States, with the goal of developing the value chain and scaling up the production of winter canola as a feedstock for renewable products.

The collaboration will strengthen Neste's portfolio of renewable feedstocks and contribute to the development of sustainable biofuels, such as renewable diesel and sustainable jet fuel, which can reduce greenhouse gas emissions, the company said.
