Nestle SA said Thursday that it is investing 53 million Swiss francs ($58.1 million) in China to support sustainable agriculture and its production capacity in the province of Heilongjiang.

Part of the investment will go toward developing local grain cultivation. The second part will reinforce the company's production capacity in the province.
