On August 24, 2020, NetApp, Inc. filed a definitive proxy statement soliciting proxies and urged the shareholders to vote against a proposal from John Chevedden, requesting the Company board of directors to take the steps necessary to permit written consent by shareholders entitled to cast the minimum number of votes that would be necessary to authorize the action at a meeting at which all shareholders entitled to vote thereon were present and voting at the Company’s annual general meeting of shareholders scheduled to be held on September 10, 2020.
