Netflix is giving a glimpse of the new series Sweet Tooth.

The streaming service shared a trailer for the series Monday featuring Christian Convery as Gus, a young boy who is born part human and part deer.

The preview shows Gus grow up in a post-apocalyptic world with his father (Will Forte). When his quiet existence is threatened, Gus sets out with Tommy (Nonso Anozie), a wandering loner, to seek a refuge for himself and other hybrids.

"Sweet Tooth is a post-apocalyptic fairytale about a hybrid deer-boy and a wandering loner who embark on an extraordinary adventure," an official description reads.

Netflix released a teaser trailer for the show in April that introduces Gus.

Sweet Tooth is based on Jeff Lemire's DC Comics series of the same name. The series is executive produced by Robert Downey, Jr., and Susan Downey, with Jim Mickle as writer, executive producer and director.

Adeel Akhtar, Dania Ramirez, Neil Sandilands, Stefania LaVie Owen, Aliza Vellani and Mia Artemis co-star.

Sweet Tooth premieres June 4 on Netflix.
