You no longer have to subject yourself to a buffet in Vegas (but if you're so inclined, try the Bacchanal Buffet in Caesars Palace or the Wicked Spoon in The Cosmopolitan). These days almost every celebrity chef has a restaurant in Vegas like Gordon Ramsey's Hell's Kitchen in Caesars Palace, Giada De Laurentiis' Giada in The Cromwell, and Roy Choi's Best Friend in Park MGM.

Michelin-starred restaurants include Restaurant Joël Robuchon (3 stars) in MGM Grand, Restaurant Guy Savoy (2 stars) in Caesars Palace, Picasso (2 stars) in Bellagio (see some of Pablo Picasso's renowned paintings and ceramic pieces while you dine), Nobu (1 star) in Caesars Palace, Le Cirque (1 star) in Bellagio, and Wing Lei (1 star) in Wynn.

Other restaurants and eateries worth indulging in are Delilah, Lakeside, Mizumi, and Sinatra in Wynn, Mott 32 in The Palazzo/The Venetian, Ping Pang Pong in Gold Coast, and the 16 food stalls at Famous Foods Street Eats in Resorts World.

For more casual dining, you'll find regional American favorites like Carl's Jr. (founded in Anaheim, California), Farmer Boys (Riverside, California), Fatburger (Beverly Hills, California), Five Guys (Lorton, Virginia), Giordano's (Chicago, Illinois), Hattie B's Hot Chicken (Nashville, Tennessee), In-N-Out Burger (Irvine, California), Jack in the Box (San Diego, California), Raising Cane's (Baton Rouge, Louisiana), Rally's (Tampa, Florida), Shake Shack (New York, New York), Smashburger (Denver, Colorado), Sonic Drive-In (Oklahoma City, Oklahoma), Steak 'n Shake (Indianapolis, Indiana), Wahlburgers (Hingham, Massachusetts), and White Castle (Columbus, Ohio).

Vegetarians and vegans (and omnivores too!) should try Blackout for a plant-based tasting menu that you enjoy in the dark to heighten your senses or Crossroads in Resorts World-the first fully plant-based fine dining restaurant on the Strip. Hot tip: Most of the restaurants mentioned here have veggie options.

Don't feel like venturing out? You're in luck as The Cosmopolitan restaurant collection has some of the best food on the Strip with an impressive selection of restaurants, cafes, and bars to choose from such as Jaleo by José Andrés, Zuma by Rainer Becker, Momofuku by David Chang, and the Chandelier Bar for cocktails. And don't miss the several speakeasies in The Cosmopolitan: Be sure to seek out the Barbershop Cuts and Cocktails, Beauty & Essex, Ghost Donkey, Secret Pizza (psst, it's on level three of the Boulevard Tower), and Ski Lodge. See what's happening at the hotel daily including happy hours and brunch.
