Class Intercom and its parent company, Social Assurance, announced a partnership with Nextdoor, the essential neighborhood network. The partnership effectively streamlines the setup process for schools interested in claiming and activating their Nextdoor pages-opening up the platform to schools interested in reaching the app's more than 45 million weekly active users through local, relevant content. Nextdoor is the essential neighborhood network, designed for connecting neighbors to their local neighborhood communities.

Individuals, organizations, and businesses use the platform to engage with others and share information about local happenings. Through the partnership, Class Intercom (a division of Social Assurance) will streamline the setup process for schools looking to claim and activate their Nextdoor profiles. Built specifically to help schools manage all aspects of school social media, the platform provides a secure, central location for school and district accounts across social networks.

Through an API integration between the two solutions, schools utilizing Nextdoor are also able to actively manage their Nextdoor pages via Class Intercom, including content creation and publishing, moderation, and the automatic archival of communications that happen through the platform.
