RETIREMENT OF EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR AND PRESIDENT

The board (the "Board") of directors (the "Directors") of Nexteer Automotive Group Limited (the "Company") announces that Mr. Michael Paul RICHARDSON ("Mr. Richardson"), due to his decision to retire, has retired from his position as an Executive Director and President of the Company with effect from January 1, 2020.

Mr. Richardson has confirmed that he has no disagreement with the Board and there is no matter in respect of the retirement of Mr. Richardson that needs to be brought to the attention of the shareholders of the Company and The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited.

The Board would like to express its most sincere gratitude to Mr. Richardson for his invaluable contribution to the Company during his tenure of service.
