JUNO BEACH, Fla. (AP) _ NextEra Energy Partners LP (NEP) on Tuesday reported fourth-quarter net income of $64 million.

On a per-share basis, the Juno Beach, Florida-based company said it had profit of 85 cents.

The results topped Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of three analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 38 cents per share.

The limited partnership for clean-energy projects posted revenue of $212 million in the period, which did not meet Street forecasts. Four analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $322 million.

For the year, the company reported that its loss narrowed to $50 million, or 81 cents per share. Revenue was reported as $917 million.

NextEra Energy Partners shares have risen 25% since the beginning of the year. The stock has risen 49% in the last 12 months.
