JUNO BEACH, Fla. (AP) _ NextEra Energy Partners LP (NEP) on Tuesday reported a fourth-quarter loss of $10 million, after reporting a profit in the same period a year earlier.

The Juno Beach, Florida-based company said it had a loss of 12 cents per share.

The results missed Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of three analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 45 cents per share.

The limited partnership for clean-energy projects posted revenue of $232 million in the period, which also fell short of Street forecasts. Four analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $353.7 million.

For the year, the company reported net income of $137 million, or $1.77 per share, swinging to a profit in the period. Revenue was reported as $982 million.
