Notice Regarding the Status of Acquisition of Own Shares and its Completion
and Cancellation of Treasury Shares
(Acquisition of own shares pursuant to the provisions of Article 165, paragraph 2 of the Companies Act and cancellation of
treasury shares pursuant to the provisions of Article 178 of the Companies Act)
NGK INSULATORS, LTD. ("NGK") hereby announces that NGK completed acquiring its own shares pursuant to the provisions of Article 156 of the Companies Act, applied by replacing terms pursuant to the provisions of Article 165, paragraph 3 of said Act and that the total number of shares to be cancelled pursuant to the provisions of Article 178 of the Companies Act in accordance with the resolution at the meeting of the Board of Directors held on April 28, 2021, as described below.
