To continue its reforestation efforts, the Arkansas Forestry Commission is once again selling tree seedlings and is now collecting online pre-order reservations for three planting seasons at http://forestry.arkansas.gov/ar/seedlings.
The Arkansas Forestry Commission (AFC) introduced the online tree seedling sales service 11 years ago, and have quadrupled sales during that time. This convenient online service allows customers to pre-order AFC exclusive seedlings, with the Genetically Improved Nuttall Oak to be offered in 2014. The pre-order reservation system alerts customers two weeks in advance of the reservation payment period, and on the first day of the reservation payment period. Customers may pay for the seedlings online via electronic check or credit card.
"The online order option is an integral component in quality service to our customers," said David Bowling, the Reforestation Manager for the Arkansas Forestry Commission. "Customer convenience, professional image for AFC, and reduced cost for order processing and tracking are a few of the benefits of ordering seedlings on line, and our new pre order option amplifies all of those benefits."
Beautification Bundles and Wildlife Bundles are also sold for those who want to invite nature into their backyard or enjoy the beauty of nature through planting. Visit the Arkansas Forestry Commission Seedling website to manage all of your reforestation needs, http://forestry.arkansas.gov/ar/seedlings.
