Nifco Inc. (Headquarters: Yokosuka City, Kanagawa Pref., President: Masaharu Shibao) has commercialized and begun mass production of Japan's largest-class-size camera bracket and camera cover for advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS).
As vehicles become more sophisticated with advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) and autonomous driving, the number and the size of cameras and sensors installed in vehicles is increasing every year. This has created an ever-increasing need for advanced technology to safely and optimally fasten and secure these cameras and sensors to the vehicle body, while taking into consideration the vibration and heat generated by the vehicle.
Nifco has commercialized and started mass production of the largest-class-size camera bracket and camera cover in Japan, which support the latest automatic driving systems, based on the technology cultivated through the design and development of various plastic products including industrial fasteners.
This product is installed in Nissan Motor Co. Ltd's ProPILOT 2.0.

Special coating suppresses the reflection of sunlight to prevent false detection.

Manufacturing technology that achieves an attractive design despite it being the largest-class-size camera cover in Japan.
