Nintendo Co., Ltd. (TSE:7974) entered into an agreement to acquire SRD Co., Ltd. on February 24, 2022. SRD will operates as a wholly owned subsidiary of Nintendo and the transaction will serve to strengthen the management base of SRD. The transaction is pending satisfaction of relevant terms and customary closing conditions and is expected to close on April 1, 2022.
The acquisition will have only a minor effect on Nintendo's results.
