Nippon Express Co. Ltd. announced consolidated earnings results for the nine months ended December 31, 2015. For the quarter, the company reported revenues of JPY 1,434,873 million against JPY 1,417,784 million a year ago. Operating income was JPY 38,507 million against JPY 34,729 million a year ago. Ordinary income was JPY 45,034 million against JPY 41,703 million a year ago. Net income attributable to shareholders of the company was JPY 27,391 million against JPY 24,359 million a year ago. Net income per share was JPY 27.35 against JPY 23.77 a year ago. Income before income taxes and non-controlling interests was JPY 42,934 million against JPY 39,023 million a year ago.
The company expects to pay a dividend of JPY 5.00 per share for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2016 compared to JPY 5.00 a year ago.
For the full year ending March 31, 2016, the company expects to report net sales of JPY 2,000,000 million, operating income of JPY 54,000 million, ordinary income of JPY 63,000 million, and net income attributable to shareholders of the company of JPY 34,000 million, or JPY 33.95 per share.
