Nippon Paint Holdings Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Chuo-ku, Tokyo) is announcing that Masayoshi Yamazaki's official DIY YouTube channel, craftpapa* will stream a collaborative video with Nippon Paint starting Friday, December 17, 2021.

Masayoshi Yamazaki created "Niji No Tsuzuki" as the corporate theme song of the Nippon Paint Group to celebrate its 140th anniversary. We used this song in our new TV commercial. These events led us to make a collaborative program to convey the appeal of DIY to a wider audience.
The first sequence in the craftpapa collaborative program featuring Nippon Paint is themed "Let's create an original photo frame to colorfully frame your memories!" This program offers tips for using Nippon Paint's products to create a stylish photo frame. Have fun with DIY making a photo frame that is perfect for holding memorable photos and as functioning as a wall décor.
The first sequence has two video episodes that explain how to make four types of photo frames. These are must-see videos as Mr. Yamazaki shows skillful painting techniques to create an antique look and a rough texture on painted surfaces. After shooting this collaborative program, Mr. Yamazaki commented, "Through this program, I learned that different types of paint products are available for creating different textures. I'm getting into DIY paint."
