NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Nissan is announcing a change in senior management with the appointment of Carlos Guerra as vice president, Human Resources, Nissan Americas. This change follows the recently announced regional alignment as the company takes another step in our Nissan NEXT midterm plan to streamline operations, creating a more focused and nimble structure.
In this newly expanded role, Guerra will oversee the entire HR Organization for the U.S., Canada, Mexico and South America. He was previously Senior Director and Acting Vice President of HR for the U.S. and Canada.
Guerra brings more than 17 years of strategic leadership to the role. Prior to joining Nissan, Guerra worked in various leadership roles within the HR function at several Top 100 multinational companies in the U.S., Mexico and Latin America.
Guerra holds a bachelor's degree in industrial engineering from Universidad Valle del Bravo in Mexico.
