NASHVILLE, Tenn. - This past academic year is one that most college students will likely never forget. For those who made it through their online senior course load, why not reward them with something non-virtual - like a new car or truck? The 2021 Nissan Sentra is one of five new vehicles named to Autotrader's 10 Best Cars for Recent College Graduates (the list also includes five pre-owned vehicles). It is the second year in a row that Sentra has been selected.

According to the Autotrader guide, the 2021 Nissan Sentra is 'an affordable compact sedan with a muscular attitude, drawing inspiration from bigger, more expensive Nissan sedans. With a stylish exterior, an upscale interior and a lot of standard safety features, we like that you can go up to the top SR trim while still staying in the low-$20,000 range - the Sentra starts at around $20,410.'

The surprising Nissan Sentra, which was completely redesigned inside and out for the 2020 model year, represents a breakthrough for Nissan's popular compact sedan. Now in its eighth generation, Sentra has been transformed from a traditional compact sedan to a powerful presence that shares the muscular, sporty design elements from models like Maxima and Altima.

The 2021 Sentra offers eye-catching styling, a comprehensive suite of intelligent driving technologies including standard Nissan Safety Shield 360, advanced connectivity functions and confident performance. It also features a refined, premium interior that sets the standard for quality and comfort in its class. Also standard on all three Sentra grade levels is Apple CarPlay integration and Android Auto. Available on Sentra SR are NissanConnect Services and NissanConnect with Wi-Fi hotspot.

The 2021 Nissan Sentra has a starting MSRP1 of $19,640. Sentra was also named to Autotrader's Best Compact Cars for 2020 list.

All vehicles on the 2021 Autotrader 10 Best Cars for Recent College Graduates list - a mix of new and used cars and SUVs - are available for under $25,000 and achieve a combined fuel economy rating of at least 30 mpg.
