YOKOHAMA, Japan - Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. today announced production, sales and export figures for December 2022 and calendar year 2022.

1. Production

December 2022

Global production in December declined 27.6% from a year earlier.

• Production inside Japan surpassed year-earlier results by 98.5%.
• Production outside Japan declined 41.2% from a year earlier.

Calendar year 2022

Global production in 2022 declined 9.4% from a year earlier.

• Production inside Japan surpassed year-earlier results by 12.6%.
• Prouction outside Japan declined 12.9% from a year earlier.

2. Sales

December 2022

Global sales in December declined 22.2% from a year earlier.

• Sales including minivehicles in Japan surpassed year-ealier results by 41.1%.
• • Sales of registered vehicles in Japan surpassed year-earlier results by 10.0%.
  • Minivehicle sales in Japan surpassed year-earlier results by 134.6%.
• Sales outside Japan declined 27.1% from a year earlier.

Calendar year 2022

Global sales in 2022 declined 20.7% from a year earlier.

• Sales including minivehicles in Japan declined 0.5% from a year earlier.
• • Sales of registered vehicles in Japan declined 0.8% from a year ealier.
  • Minivehicle sales in Japan surpassed year-ealier results.
• Sales outside Japan declined 23.2% from a year earlier.

3. Exports from Japan

December 2022

Exports from Japan in December surpassed year-ealier results by 162.7%.

Calendar year 2022

Exports from Japan in 2022 surpassed year-earlier results by 3.5%.
