Nissin Foods Holdings Co.,Ltd. reported unaudited consolidated and parent earnings results for the year ended March 31, 2021. For the year, on consolidated basis, the company reported revenue of JPY 506,107 million compared to JPY 468,879 million a year ago. Operating profit was JPY 55,532 million compared to JPY 41,252 million a year ago. Profit was JPY 43,340 million compared to JPY 31,122 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share were JPY 391.94 compared to JPY 281.45 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share were JPY 389.69 compared to JPY 279.93 a year ago.
For the year, on parent basis, the company reported net sales of JPY 45,239 million compared to JPY 50,824 million a year ago. Operating income was JPY 11,460 million compared to JPY 17,602 million a year ago. Net income was JPY 13,463 million compared to JPY 17,333 million a year ago. Net income attributable to owners of the parent per share were JPY 129.25 compared to JPY 166.41 a year ago.
NISSIN FOODS HOLDINGS CO., LTD. is a Japan-based holding company principally engaged in the manufacture and sale of instant foods, such as instant noodles. The Company is also involved in other food business, logistics business and other related business. The Company operates its business through five business segments. The four business segments, Nisshin Foods, Myojo Foods, Americas and China, mainly manufacture and sell instant bag noodles and cup noodles respectively. Low Temperature segment is involved in the manufacture and sale of chilled products and frozen products.
