Nitori Holdings Co., Ltd. reported consolidated earnings results for the nine months ended November 20, 2020. For the period, the company reported net sales of JPY 540,146 million compared to JPY 481,498 million a year ago. Operating profit was JPY 118,544 million compared to JPY 84,472 million a year ago. Profit attributable to owners of parent was JPY 76,723 million compared to JPY 57,507 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was JPY 680.66 compared to JPY 511.93 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share was JPY 680.27 compared to JPY 510.77 a year ago.
NITORI Holdings Co, Ltd. is a holding company specializing in the manufacture and distribution of furniture and home furnishings (sofas, chairs, tables, curtains, rugs, beds, mattresses, kitchen and dining furniture, etc.) and offices (armchairs, shelving, drawers, computer tables, etc.). The group is also developing a women's clothing distribution business.
At the end of March 2023, products are marketed through a network of 902 stores in Japan (773), China (67), Taiwan (53), Malaysia (7), Singapore and the United States, and via the Internet.
