Public Joint Stock Nizhnekamskneftekhim : SIBUR recognized as the best employer among petrochemical companies in Russia

Forbes has presented the rating of 104 best employers in Russia in 2021. Among the petrochemical enterprises, the highest score was given to SIBUR Holding. Of the three areas ("Employees and Society", "Environment" and "Corporate Governance"), the company received two highest, "platinum" status, and one "gold" status.

When calculating points, the financial indicators at the end of 2020 were taken into account, and the number of employees - as of August 31, 2021. The Tatarstan enterprises of SIBUR, which became part of the company only in September 2021, were assessed within the framework of the rating separately. With the creation of the merged company at Nizhnekamskneftekhim, the implementation of corporate practices of SIBUR Holding began, as well as the distribution of most of the social programs to the company's employees.

Forbes ranks employers for the third year in a row. The first rating was an HR award, and the final score was mainly influenced by average salaries, benefits package and working conditions. In the second ranking, Forbes shifted the focus by assessing the ecological footprint of companies and their impact on society. The third rating is compiled in full taking into account ESG standards. The metrics used to evaluate companies are combined into three groups: Employees and Society (S), Environment (E) and Corporate Governance (G). For each direction one of four statuses is set: "platinum", "gold", "silver", "bronze".
