Travis and Tier initiate new collaboration

Travis, the smart travel planner for the mobility solutions of the future, is commencing a collaboration with Tier, which has excellent geographic coverage with electric scooters in Stockholm. With this collaboration in place, Travis users will be able to book and pay for their electric scooter trips directly in Travis. The new offering will be an important addition to the ecosystem of shared and sustainable travel options already contained in Travis - all of Stockholm's modes of transport in a single app.

Travis connects travel planning for public transport, car sharing, electric scooters, bikes and taxis with real-time travel information and smart, effective on-demand services, such as in-app ticket purchases. The specific journey determines the mode of transport and not the other way round.

Travis is continuing to grow to include new services, functions, collaborations and users, and the app has now become the largest and most rapidly growing platform for Mobility as a Service (MaaS) in Sweden.

"We try to constantly offer more and better services for smart, sustainable mobility to all Travis users. For this reason, it is really satisfying to now commence collaboration with Tier, which shares our ambition and vision for the mobility solutions of the future," says John Strand, Managing Director of Nobina Travis.

"The collaboration with Travis is fully aligned with Tier's vision for the city of the future, where it should be easy to get around central Stockholm and be more convenient to choose environmentally friendly transport than making short and unnecessary car journeys," says August Svedenstedt, Regional Manager Sweden for Tier.
