The Board of Directors (the 'Board') of Noble Group Holdings Limited ('Noble Holdings'), Asia's leading independent energy products and industrial raw materials supply chain manager, is pleased to announce the appointment of Jacques Gabillon as Independent Non-Executive Director ('INED') of Noble Holdings, with effect from 22 July 2020.
This appointment is part of Noble Holdings' ongoing commitment to building a leading international Board to deliver its strategy and continued growth across the energy products and industrial raw materials supply chain. Jacques Gabillon's background and experience will greatly enhance the Board.
Speaking about the appointment, Jim Dubow, Chairman of Noble Holdings, commented: 'I am extremely pleased to welcome Jacques and look forward to working with him as a member of the Board. He brings deep experience in relation to the full spectrum of commodities, along with significant financial acumen gained from his years working for leading banks globally. Following Mr Gabillon's appointment, the board of Noble Holdings will comprise eight Independent Non-Executive Directors (including the Chairman), one Non-Executive Director and one Executive Director.
Biographical Details of Jacques Gabillon
Jacques Gabillon has over 30 years of experience in the commodities sector working for leading institutions covering commodities, derivatives, structured finance and principal investing globally. His expertise includes major acquisitions, divestments and structured finance transactions across the full spectrum of the commodities industry. Jacques Gabillon was a Managing Director and Partner of Goldman Sachs and Global Head of their Commodities Trading Division based in London.
Mr Gabillon holds a Master of Science from Ecole Centrale Paris.
