TOKYO - June 28, 2021 -NTT DATA, a global digital business and IT services leader, today announced that it has won the 2020 Qlik Global and Regional Partner Award in the category 'Asia Pacific System Integrator Partner of the Year'. This award was announced by Qlik Technologies Inc. at its annual customer and partner event QlikWorld, recognizing the Qlik partner community for excellence in several different categories.
NTT DATA received the award for its outstanding performance as a system integrator service provider delivering high business value to its customers by utilizing Qlik products in the Asia Pacific Region in the past year.
In 2020, NTT DATA Group successfully delivered Qlik data analytics and data integration solutions to customers in finance, manufacturing and a variety of other industries in Japan and other areas of the Asia Pacific region. In particular, in November 2020, NTT DATA's SaaS/PaaS solution 'Qlik Managed Service on A-gate' was adopted by Mizuho Bank as the platform for its new statistical data sales and analytics service 'Mizuho Bank Insight Portal (Mi-Pot),' the first data provision business launched by a banking institution in Japan.

Global partnership between NTT DATA and Qlik Technologies
In January 2019, NTT DATA Corporation signed an MSP (Managed Service Provider) partnership agreement with QlikTech Japan K.K., Qlik's Japanese subsidiary. This agreement authorized NTT DATA and its group companies to provide Qlik products as a SaaS model around the globe. In the same year, NTT DATA started the new service 'Qlik Managed Service on A-gate' in Japan, a cloud platform providing a full stack of Qlik analytics and data integration products. In 2020, similar platforms and services were launched in China, Thailand (for APAC region) and the UK, delivered by NTT DATA group companies.

'Qlik Managed Service on A-gate' is a managed service (SaaS/PaaS type) by implementing Qlik products on 'A-gate', an enterprise level high-security public cloud service provided by NTT DATA. This is the only authorized Qlik managed service in Japan that can be provided to both domestic and overseas customers via NTT DATA Corporation and its group companies. In addition to enterprises' internal use in supporting decision making or process optimization, 'Qlik Managed Service on A-gate' can also be utilized as a data collaboration platform for data collection, data sharing, and data provision for external parties (customers, business partners, suppliers, etc.).
