Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain
Officers.
On October 27, 2022, William E. Greehey notified the Board of Directors (the
"Board") of NuStar GP, LLC (the "Company"), the general partner of the general
partner of NuStar Energy L.P. (the "Partnership"), of his decision to retire
from the Board, effective October 27, 2022. Mr. Greehey's decision to retire
from the Board was not due to any disagreement with the Company or the
Partnership relating to the operations, practices or policies of the
Partnership.
In connection with Mr. Greehey's retirement and effective on October 27, 2022,
the Board selected Bradley C. Barron, the Company's President and Chief
Executive Officer and a director of the Board, to serve as Chairman of the
Board, and reduced the size of the Board from ten to nine members.

On October 27, 2022, the Partnership issued a press release announcing the
retirement of Mr. Greehey. A copy of the press release is furnished with this
report as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated herein by reference.
