Nuveen New York Select Tax-Free Income Portfolio Stock

Nuveen New York Select Tax-Free Income Portfolio (the Fund) is a diversified closed-end management investment company. The Fund's investment objectives are to provide current income exempt from regular federal, and New York State and New York City income tax and to enhance portfolio value relative to the municipal bond market by investing in tax-exempt municipal bonds that the Fund's investment adviser and/or the Funds sub-adviser believes are underrated or undervalued or that represent municipal market sectors that are undervalued. The Fund invests approximately 80% of its managed assets in municipal securities rated investment grade at the time of investment. The Fund may invest over 20% of its managed assets in municipal securities rated below investment quality or judged by the manager to be of comparable quality, which approximately 10% of its managed assets maybe rated below B-/B3 or of comparable quality of.
