NXP Semiconductors NV, Penn National Gaming Inc., Generac Holdings Inc. and Caesars Entertainment Inc. will join the S&P 500, replacing Flowserve Corp., SL Green Realty Corp., Xerox Holdings Corp. and Vontier Corp., according to S&P Dow Jones Indices.

Meanwhile, S&P 500 constituents Broadcom Inc., T-Mobile US Inc. and Linde PLC will replace Allstate Corp., Kinder Morgan Inc. and Schlumberger in the S&P 100, it said.

The changes will be effective prior to the open of trading on Monday to coincide with the quarterly rebalance, it said.

Flowserve is to replace Edgewell Personal Care Co. in the S&P MidCap 400, and Edgewell Personal Care will replace Exterran Corp. in the S&P SmallCap 600.

SL Green Realty, Xerox, and Vontier move to the S&P MidCap 400 along with Flowserve, which takes Edgewell Personal Care's spot. Edgewell Personal Care, meanwhile, will replace Exterran Corp. in the S&P SmallCap 600.

Shares of companies that join the S&P 500 often rise as portfolio managers who track the index buy shares.
