Ocado : Director Claudia Arney Resigns to Become Chairman of Deliveroo

Ocado Group PLC said Wednesday that Claudia Arney, a nonexecutive director, has resigned to take up the newly created role of chairman at British food-delivery startup Deliveroo.

Ms. Arney's resignation will be effective in a month, the FTSE 100 online grocer and retail-technology specialist said.

Sky News on Tuesday reported that Ms. Arney would join Deliveroo's board, in a move linked to a potential initial public offering of the startup next year.
