Occidental Petroleum Corporation reported earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended September 30, 2024. Occidental Petroleum Corporation is one of the world's largest oil groups in the United States. Net sales (including intra-group) break down by activity as follows: - exploration and production of hydrocarbon (72.8%): 234 million barrels of crude oil, 103 million barrels of natural gaz liquids and 18.6 billion m3 of natural gas sold in 2023; - fabrication of chemicals (18.2%): basic chemicals (chlorine, caustic soda, ethylene, etc.) and performance chemicals (primarily PVC, pigments, and plastics); - transportation, storage and distribution of hydrocarbons (9%). The United States account for 84.6% of net sales.
