Oceaneering International, Inc. announced earnings results for the fourth quarter ended December 31, 2020. For the fourth quarter, the company announced sales was USD 424.262 million compared to USD 560.810 million a year ago. Operating income was USD 480,000 compared to operating loss of USD 254.170 million a year ago. Net loss was USD 25.000 million compared to USD 262.912 million a year ago. Diluted loss per share from continuing operations was USD 0.25 compared to USD 2.66 a year ago. For the full year, sales was USD 1,827.889 million compared to USD 2,048.124 million a year ago. Operating loss was USD 446.079 million compared to USD 290.713 million a year ago. Net loss was USD 496.751 million compared to USD 348.444 million a year ago. Diluted loss per share from continuing operations was USD 5.01 compared to USD 3.52 a year ago.
Oceaneering International, Inc. is a technology company, which delivers engineered services and products, and robotic solutions to the offshore energy, defense, aerospace, manufacturing and entertainment industries. The Company operates through four segments. Subsea Robotics segment consists of its remotely operated vehicles (ROVs), survey services and ROV tooling businesses. Manufactured Products segment provides distribution systems, such as production control umbilicals and connection systems made up of specialty subsea hardware, along with clamp connectors and subsea and topside control valves. Offshore Projects Group segment provides a portfolio of integrated subsea project capabilities and solutions. Integrity Management & Digital Solutions segment provides asset integrity management, corrosion management, inspection and nondestructive testing services, principally to customers in the oil and gas, power generation and petrochemical industries.
