Oceaneering International, Inc. reported earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended September 30, 2022. For the third quarter, the company reported sales was USD 559.67 million compared to USD 466.81 million a year ago. Net income was USD 18.3 million compared to net loss of USD 7.37 million a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 0.18 compared to diluted loss per share from continuing operations of USD 0.07 a year ago.
For the nine months, sales was USD 1,529.86 million compared to USD 1,402.57 million a year ago. Net income was USD 2.81 million compared to net loss of USD 10.49 million a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 0.03 compared to diluted loss per share from continuing operations of USD 0.11 a year ago.
Oceaneering International, Inc. is a technology company, which delivers engineered services and products, and robotic solutions to the offshore energy, defense, aerospace, manufacturing and entertainment industries. The Company operates through four segments. Subsea Robotics segment consists of its remotely operated vehicles (ROVs), survey services and ROV tooling businesses. Manufactured Products segment provides distribution systems, such as production control umbilicals and connection systems made up of specialty subsea hardware, along with clamp connectors and subsea and topside control valves. Offshore Projects Group segment provides a portfolio of integrated subsea project capabilities and solutions. Integrity Management & Digital Solutions segment provides asset integrity management, corrosion management, inspection and nondestructive testing services, principally to customers in the oil and gas, power generation and petrochemical industries.
