OIL RCE Felicitates Children with Disabilities at Duliajan

9 Sept, 2021, Duliajan: Taking forward the ongoing celebration of 'Bharat Ka Amrit Mahotsav' on completing 75 years of freedom of progressive India and the glorious history of its people, culture and achievements, Oil India Limited felicitated two students of Mrinaljyoti Rehabilitation Centre, Duliajan for their outstanding academic achievements. Shri Prasanta Borkakoty, RCE OIL met both the students at their residences to felicitate with a letter of appreciation to Ms. Niharika Phukan and Mast. Prashurjya Pran Goswami, students of the centre who have passed the class 12th examination and have secured 1st division during the 2020-21 academic session.

Ms. Niharika Phukan, a person with multiple disability is one of the first few female students of Mrinaljyoti Rehabilitation Centre with such good results. She aims to have a career in the home science major and also has keen interest in fashion designing. Whereas, Prashurjya Pran Goswami is a student with Cerebral Palsy. His aim is to pursue education with History major and wants to appear for UPSC examinations in future.

Shri Trideeb Saikia, General Manager (Public Affairs) OIL, and Smt. Nayana Madhu Dutta, Sr. Manager (CSR), OIL were also present during the felicitation ceremony. In addition to promotion of education, Oil India Limited has been supporting Mrinaljyoti Rehabilitation Centre, since inception as an institution through various need based interventions from time to time.
