Old Dominion Freight Line, Inc. reported earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended September 30, 2021. For the third quarter, the company reported sales was USD 1,400.05 million compared to USD 1,058.17 million a year ago. Net income was USD 286.63 million compared to USD 201.87 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 2.48 compared to USD 1.72 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 2.47 compared to USD 1.71 a year ago.
For the nine months, sales was USD 3,845.97 million compared to USD 2,941.74 million a year ago. Net income was USD 755.57 million compared to USD 482.85 million a year ago.
