Olympus Corporation (TSE:7733) acquired remaining 50% stake in Olympus RMS Co., Ltd. from SEWONCELLONTECH Co., Ltd. (KOSE:A091090) on March 23, 2021. Following the acquisition, Olympus Corporation will own 100% stake in Olympus RMS Co., Ltd. Concurrently, Olympus Corporation (TSE:7733) will sell 100% of the shares of Olympus RMS Co., Ltd. to Rohto Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd.
Olympus Corporation (TSE:7733) completed the acquisition of remaining 50% stake in Olympus RMS Co., Ltd. from SEWONCELLONTECH Co., Ltd. (KOSE:A091090) on March 23, 2021.
Sewon E&C Co Ltd, formerly Sewon Cellontech Co Ltd, is a Korea-based company principally engaged in the manufacture and sale of process equipment. The Company operates its business through three segments. The Process Equipment Business segment is engaged in the design and manufacture of process equipment such as heat exchangers and reactors, among others. This segmentâs products are used in petrochemicals, oil and gas, power generation, among others. The Power Limb Business segment produces and supplies power limb such as pumps, valves, cylinders and others. This segmentâs products are used in automobile equipment, machine tools and steel equipment, among others. The Other Business segment manufactures glass lining equipment, centrifuges and others.
